ABOUT COURTNEY
-
A decade of turning overlooked resumes into interview-generating tools. I know exactly what hiring managers are looking for — and how to make sure they find it in yours.
-
I stay current so you don't have to. Years of industry conferences mean I bring real-time knowledge of hiring trends, recruiter expectations, and what's actually working in today's job market.
-
I've worked inside the rooms where hiring decisions get made. That insider perspective is what I bring to every resume I write and every client I coach.
My name is Courtney E. Olesh, and my mission is simple: make sure the people around me know how to show the world exactly how good they are.
It started the way most good things do — with a problem I couldn't stop trying to solve. I kept watching brilliant people apply for jobs they were clearly qualified for and hear nothing back. Not because they weren't talented. Because nobody had taught them how to translate what they'd actually accomplished into language that got them in the room. So I started doing it for them. CEOlesh grew from there.
My foundation in business started early. At 15, I joined DECA and wrote a 12-page business plan almost overnight — placing first at the International Career Development Conference in the Entrepreneurship: Franchising category. I went on to earn a B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University with a specialization in Economics and Finance, where I also spent two years conducting empirical and theoretical economics research on campaign finance regulation and political polarization — including analysis of Federal Election Commission data and econometric regression methods applied to the 2016 presidential election cycle.
Today I work as a Senior Accountant at RhinoSystems, Inc. — a Cleveland-based technology company — where I led the NetSuite ERP implementation for 50+ users, automated the full order-to-cash process for over 50,000 monthly e-commerce orders, and developed a new accrual accounting process under ASC 606 that resulted in $500K in savings and the recovery of $375K in erroneous sales deductions. I also cut the month-end close cycle from 25 days to 5.
Before RhinoSystems, I spent three years as a Financial Analyst on the International Costing Team at The Sherwin-Williams Company — one of the Fortune 500's largest manufacturers — managing standard cost accounting operations for 60,000+ SKUs across manufacturing facilities in the United States, Chile, Ecuador, and Peru. I designed intercompany transfer pricing templates that eliminated manual cross-reference work across 600+ SKUs, built a simplified manufacturing cost matrix for LATAM that was subsequently expanded across the region, and served as a subject matter expert during the OneStream and Oracle Cloud ERP go-live.
I know what hiring managers look for — because I've been on the inside at every level: startup, Fortune 500, and government-adjacent. That's the edge I bring to every resume I write and every interview I coach.
